Series Recap Kernels vs Edmonton Jackrabbits– April 2035


April 25 2035 The Edmonton Jackrabbits scored two runs in the first inning, and one run in the fifth inning. The Jackrabbits scored a total of 3 runs off of 7 hits. The Kernels scored three runs in the seventh inning, and eight runs in the ninth inning. The Kernels scored 11 runs off of 10 hits. The Kernels won the game 11 to 3 over the Jackrabbits. Kernel’s relief pitcher, Colt Anderson, earned his first win of the season going 1.1 inning, giving up one hit, zero runs, and zero walks. Jackrabbit’s relief pitcher, Jonathan Bowen, had his third loss of the season, going .1 inning, giving up four hits, five runs, and one walk. Kernel’s catcher, Cisco Arreola, was named the player of the game, with two home runs, and four RBIs. The Kernels saw four home runs in the ninth inning as Ginn, Lopez, Moreland, and Arreola all came through at the plate. The Jackrabbits saw a solo home run by Mejia in the fifth inning.


April 26, 2035 The Kernels scored two runs in the first inning, and three runs in the eighth inning. The Kernels scored a total of 5 runs off of 6 hits. The Edmonton Jackrabbits scored one run in the fourth inning, and one run in the sixth inning. The Jackrabbits scored 2 runs off of 8 hits. The Kernels won 5 to 2 over the Jackrabbits. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Patrick Patchett, earned his third win of the season, going 7 innings, giving up seven hits, two runs, and zero walks. Patchett was named the player of the game. Jackrabbit’s relief pitcher, Stewart Vale, had his first loss of the season, going .1 inning, giving up three hits, three runs, and two walks. Fans had to wait out a 67 minute rain delay in the eighth inning.


April 27, 2035 The Kernels scored one run in the fourth inning, three runs in the eighth inning, and one run in the ninth inning. The Kernels scored a total of 5 runs off of 9 hits. The Edmonton Jackrabbits managed to score only one run in the sixth inning off of their eight game hits. The Kernels won 5 to 1 over the Jackrabbits. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Elwood Blues, earned his third win of the season, going 7.1 innings, giving up six hits, one run, and one walk. Blues was named the player of the game. Jackrabbit’s relief pitcher, Stewart Vale, had his second loss of the season, going .1 inning, giving up three hits, three runs, and one walk. Kernel’s Arreola and Jackrabbit’s Crauen both hit home runs.


April 28, 2035 The Kernels scored three runs in the first inning, one run in the fourth inning, one run in the fifth inning, five runs in the seventh inning, and one run in the eighth inning. The Kernels scored a total of 11 runs off of 13 hits. The Edmonton Jackrabbits scored two runs in the fifth inning, and two runs in the ninth inning. The Jackrabbits scored a total of 4 runs off of 12 hits. The Kernels won 11 to 4 over the Jackrabbits, sweeping the four game series. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Don Bird, earned his second win of the season, going 6.2 innings, giving up nine hits, two runs, and two walks. Jackrabbit’s starting pitcher, Justin Sproule, had his first loss of the season, going 6 innings, giving up eleven hits, five runs, and two walks. Kernel’s third baseman, Pat Holland, was named the player of the game. Holland went 2 for 4, with a grand slam home run and a double, driving in five runs and scoring once for the Kernels.
