Series Recap Kernels vs Long Beach Surfers– April 2035
April 5, 2035. The Kernels scored two runs in the second inning, and one run in the fifth inning. They scored a total of 3 runs off of 8 hits. The Long Beach Surfers scored three runs in the third inning, one run in the fourth inning, and one run in the eighth inning. The Surfers scored a total of 5 runs off of 8 hits. The Surfers won 5 to 3 over the Kernels. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Elwood Blues, had his first loss of the season, going only 3.2 innings, giving up six hits, four runs, and four walks. Surfer’s starting pitcher, Allain Jolivet, earned his first win of the season, going 5 innings, giving up seven hits, three runs, and two walks. Surfer’s left fielder, Ken Jenkins, was named the player of the game. Jenkins went 2 for 5, hitting a 2-run double in the bottom of the third inning.


April 6, 2035. The Kernels scored two runs in the third inning, and one run in the eighth inning. They scored a total of 3 runs off of 7 hits. The Long Beach Surfers scored one run in the third inning, and one run in the ninth inning. The Surfers scored a total of 2 runs off of 5 hits. The Kernels won 3 to 2 over the Surfers, as the Kernels managed to pull off their first win of the season. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Don Bird, earned his first win of the season, going 8 innings, giving up five hits, two runs, and zero walks. Bird was named the player of the game. Surfer’s starting pitcher, Pepe Castillo, had his first loss of the season, going 5 innings, giving up 5 hits, two runs, and 2 walks. Surfer’s left fielder, Ken Jenkins, hit a single run home run in the 9th inning.


April 7, 2035. The Kernels scored two runs in the first inning, one run in the seventh inning, and one run in the ninth inning. The Kernels scored a total of 4 runs off of 6 hits. The Long Beach Surfers only scored one run in the first inning. The Surfers only were able to score 1 run off of 8 hits. The Kernels won 4 to 1 over the Surfers. Kernel’s starting pitcher, Ragnar Lothbrok, earned his first win of the season, going 6 innings, giving up 4 hits, one run, and 2 walks. Lothbrok was named the player of the game. Surfer’s starting pitcher, Pierre Legrand, had his second loss of the season, going 6 innings, giving up three hits, two runs, and one walk. Kernel’s catcher, Cisco Arreola, hit a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning. Surfer’s only run came when right fielder, Carlos Gonzales, hit a solo run home run in the bottom of the first inning.
