TN 2034-11 Arreola injured

Post by Edward Murphy » Mon May 14, 2018 7:37 pm

In what was a meaningless game, star catcher, Cisco Arreola, suffer a fractured thumb after being hit by a pitch in the ninth inning. Manager Josh McConnell had nothing good to say about Arreola’s injury, “Arreola will have the whole off season to recover”. Josh said “This should not have happened; this was a makeup game going back to September 6. Then we were going to play the game as a double header on September 19, that got move to September 22, which was the last day we were in Mexico City. Our last series was in Edmonton where we got swept. We had to fly back to Mexico City to play a game that had nothing to do with the standings, we are 35 games out.” Arreola ended the season .284/.384/.581 with 39 home runs and 107 RBI’s and is a leading candidate for the Sawyer Silk Sliver Slugger Trophy.

Thumb hunting?

I will say, this maybe destroys my potential offseason plan of making a large offer for Arreola.
