Bandit Post - Sim #4

Post by bigmike13 » Tue May 15, 2012 10:10 pm

Mike Calvaruso knew he had his work cut out for him when he was recently tabbed as the new GM for the Birmingham Bandits, and boy was he right.

As the Bandits struggle out of the gate, (GM Mike) Calvaruso has already put feelers out to the league for a few of his veterans that still have some trade value. "I can see where this season is heading and have no desire to beat a dead horse". " Former GM Aaron Weiner and I had some long talks during spring training and he filled me in on a good bit of the inner workings of the club. The information that he so graciously shared has been invaluable".

"I have Owner Sobchak's support in regards to how I want to handle the re-building project and have every intention of putting my plan into action". " This team has some very good pieces in place and I am not starting from scratch, but there are some glaring holes that need to be filled". " But i do want to make it clear that i will not make a trade just for the hell of it. I will look for the best trade partners and expect fair trade value".

Looks like the season is just starting to get interesting.

I'll be following your trials and tribulations... it looks to be an interesting task at hand.

Who knew we'd end up in the same division, eh! Better watch out for the newbies Des Moines and New Orleans!! :)
