OK, first of all, its life on the lam, not life on the lamb. I'm not that kind of an outlaw.

I'm more of what you might call a white collar criminal. Financial crimes mostly. Should be in jail right now. Busted for embezzling Participation Points a few years back. Jumped bail, and been on the run ever since. Yeah, I bought the Outlaws with the cash I received from the PPs I (allegedly) stole. You do the math - it was one hell of a lot of PPs. If the Feds get their hands on me, it's 15 years hard time. That's why you won't see me in the Owner's Suite in San Antonio (though you might occasionally see a man with a fake mustache, particularly for big games, but I assure you it's not me). Not that it's a problem, though, because there won't be any big games being played in San Antonio any time soon, not with this team.

I bought this team, not because I give a shit about baseball, but as a vehicle to launder the PPs. Didn't really care about the roster, or the farm team, or the finances. Now that I've had a chance to look at the franchise, maybe I made a mistake. Wouldn't be the first one. Haven't really had the time to count how many teams are in the JL, but if it's 16, then I've got the worst defense in the whole goddam league. And the so-called bats won't compensate for that - only two JL teams have scored fewer runs than the Outlaws. Not that I can do anything about it, since I currently have -$973 available for Free Agents. So I find myself in what you might say is a pickle.

There are some pieces here to work with - a 24 year old stud Israeli first baseman named Majid Bin Husam (wtf?), a RF banger named Pedro Bustamente, a couple of pretty good pitchers, and the 13th ranked farm team. So maybe we can turn this team around.

I used what little money there was in the till to fire and hire a whole bunch of minor league managers and coaches - replaced the shitbums there with a crop who are charitably classified as 'fair' or 'average' which is a big upgrade, believe it or not. Also had to sign a (cheap) player with good leadership skills to address what was essentially a civil war in the Outlaws locker room, and that seems to be under control. Oh, and actually fiddled with something called 'player strategy', which seemingly had been ignored for quite awhile. Hoping to see just a bit of improvement going forward.

In the meantime, you better change the password on your Participation Points vault. Just saying.

I think you cut a deal and now you are feeding the Feds info about what is allegedly going down in the BBA.
