While the Outlaws season has gotten off to a slow start, one offseason move is proving to be a great move so far as CF Todd Rice is white hot out of the gate.
Rice has been the steadying influewnce in Center that GM Calvaruso had thought he would be but he has also been an excellent catalyst in the lineup. Rice was riding a beautiful 23 game hitting streak before going 0-3 against El Paso yesterday. "I enjoyed the streak" Rice said in a BNN interview after the game". "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's really all that counts".
In the 15 games played so far this season, Rice is batting .368 with 7 RBI's and 8 Runs scored.
