Rivera Extended
The San Antonio Outlaws, and GM Calvaruso, eliminated any drama for the upcoming season with SP Ricardo Rivera by locking the Ace to a 6 yr, $140 million dollar contract. Calvaruso and Rivera's agent made quick work in getting the deal done and signed as to avoid any potential issues for 2045.
"When you are lucky enough to have a talent like Rivera on your team, you do whatever it takes to keep him there" GM Calvaruso stated on his radio show announcing the extension. He seemed almost giddy that they were able to get the deal done so quickly and without much headache. "I am grateful to Ricky's agent for the quick but fair contract talks and am pleased to hear he will also represent 1B Larry Stinson and SP Ruben Vazquez".
Rivera was all smiles at his Mom's home in Guatemala while talking about the contract, "The Outlaws and GM Calvaruso have shown their confidence in me and I hope to repay that confidence with more Landis titles. I love San Antonio and hope to retire from this awesome franchise. The Johnson League have not heard the last of us".
The contract keeps the superstar in an Outlaws uniform until the 2051 season and is just the first domino to fall for the Outlaws locking up their terrific core of stars.
