Outlaws Take Division
San Antonio had to fight all the way to the last regular season game of the year, but in the end they were finally able to pronounce themselves JL Frontier Division champs. And in doing so the Outlaws have claimed only the third division crown in their history, and the first back to back division titles in the history of the franchise. GM Calvaruso was pleased with the regular season results, but quickly put the teams success in perspective when he said "Divisions are nice, but success comes with hoisting the Landis. Anything else is just static".
San Antonio open the 2044 postseason with a first round bye, and some much needed R&R, while they wait for the winner between the Brooklyn Robins and the New Orleans Crawdads. The regular season series with each team showed evenly matched teams with a 3-3 record against New Orleans and a 2-4 record against Brooklyn.
San Antonio will be lead Offensively by Team Captain 1B Larry Stinson, 3B Alfredo Rosas and RF Pedro Bustamante and Defensively by the one-two punch of SP's Ricardo Rivera and Ruben Vazquez, but they are by no means alone in this quest. The Outlaws have had quite a few guys step up this year and should pose a formidable challenge to anyone during the playoffs.
