With the trade deadline approaching, GM Calvaruso and the San Antonio Outlaws received an opportunity to shore up their bullpen and decided to take it The Outlaws traded SP Nathaniel Davis, RP Adrian Custello and SS Jose Gonzales and welcomed CL Augate Balun.

"We saw an opportunity to obtain a valuable player that will undoubtedly make our club better and we decided to act upon it". GM Calvaruso said at the press conference. "We had to give up some very good players, that we hated to part with, but it was necessary to strengthen our club for a possible stretch run".
