There where some around the league, and even around San Antonio, that wasn't sure what all the fuss over 1B Larry Stinson was about but the world is starting to sit up and take notice. Larry Stinson has been a major league ball player for all of 2-1/2 months and all he's done is win Rookie of the Month award twice for April and May, and most recently Player of the Week for his outstanding play.
The super rookie from Puerto Rico mauled the BBA last week with 10 Hits, 4 HR's and 13 RBI's in only 23 AB's for a smooth .435 BA for the week, not to mention a 1.508 OPS. For the year, Stinson is batting a white hot .355 with 92 Hits and 24 Home runs and has knocked in 58 RBI's and scored 60 Runs.
Stinson has quickly become the catalyst for the Outlaws resurgence, even at such a young age.
