Outlaws Sign First Rounder

After the dust had settled from the draft, and the team and agents traded figures and terms, GM Calvaruso quickly brought his #1 pick of the 2042 draft into the fold. #3 overall pick, RF Pedro Bustamante and the Outlaws have come to terms when the powerful Outfielder inked his signature to a $4.5 million dollar bonus and was immediately assigned to AAA Austin.

Bustamante said through his translator "This is a dream come true for me and my family. I am grateful for this chance and look forward to showing the Outlaws that they made a great move in picking me"

GM Calvaruso was obviously pleased "We see tremendous potential in Pedro and we were very excited to have him fall in our lap at #3. He already has a very polished approach at the plate and his defense is more than good enough for Right Field. I can see Pedro being on a fast track to the majors".

The Outlaws also came to terms with 2nd rounder SP Nathaniel Davis, 3rd rounder SP Pete Crosby, 5th rounder CF Jesus Borquez and 6th rounder RP Walt King.
