Carpenter Returns

In the midst of a fine start to the season, the San Antonio Outlaws feel they just got a huge boost with the return of 2038 Nebraska Award winner, SP Yrrigs Carpenter.

Carpenter finds his way back to San Antonio after a long 13 month stay on the DL with ligament surgery. The surgery was originally a complete success and Carpenter had no setbacks during his rehab. A brief trip to AAA Austin to see some live action produced some encouraging result as "The Mad" Carpenter showed good speed on his fastball and nice break on his curve.

"I have been working toward this moment for the last year and not only is it a happy feeling, it is also a huge relief that all the hard work has paid off" Carpenter said at the press conference. "I am looking forward to helping this team make the postseason and staying healthy in the process".

GM Calvaruso was excited when talking about Yrrigs "This can only help us from here on out. Very excited to have someone of Carps experience and talent back on the roster"
