Outlaws Lock Up Hernandez

San Antonio did not have the type of season that they expected, and as they look at their current roster and decide where they need to get better it appears First Base was not on the list.

The Outlaws today announced that First Baseman, Tony Hernandez, has signed a 3 Yr contract extension keeping him under team control through the 2043 season. Everyone was all smiles at the press conference announcing the signing and Hernandez was already talking Landis. "I am thrilled that the Outlaws organization thinks enough of me to want me around for 3 more years. I love San Antonio and I know that it is only matter of time before we get this team back into the playoffs and bringing home a Landis. I am truly excited about our future". Hernandez stated.

GM Calvaruso was quote pleased with the latest development "I think we can all agree that you don't win in this league without talent and T-Boy has been our most talented position player for the last three years. We wanted him and thankfully he wanted us also. Now I need to get him some help"

Hernandez has been a full time starter in San Antonio for the last three years and has averaged 35 HR's, 108 RBI's, 93 Runs and a .300 BA. The Outlaws have some good young talent with Hernandez,Cuellar, Fitas and Moreno and can hopefully make some signings that get this team back into the playoffs.
