2010:
C Justin “Bazooka” Joe
Joe was a made up name based upon the old bubblegum Bazooka Joe. I had just run into a gas station to pay and damned if I didn’t see some on the candy aisle. I could not believe it since I had not seen Bazooka Joe Bubblegum in probably 20 years. So yea, I bought some.
Joe does not show up in player names so he must not have been added. Too bad since he was a sure fire Hall of Famer.
William "Captain" Kidd
Another name that should be fairly recognizable. Captain Kidd was one of the more prolific pirates of the 17th century. He was caught and executed at the ripe old age of 47 and his body was gibbeted over the River Thames for three years as a deterrent to other pirates.
This Captain Kidd ended up having a very nice BBA career. He spent 13 seasons in the Majors starting in 2017. He made an All Star appearance in 2017 and he one a Landis in 2022 with the Atlantic City. Kidd in 2029 and moved back to his home in Dover, NH where he has a Sailing school.

2011:
Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce
Ok, you would have had to live under a rock to not know these two guys. From the original movie in 1970, to one of the longest running television series in history from 1972 to 1983. The two incorrigible doctors from the 4077 M.A.S.H unit in Korea were the highlight late night television for many of us. If you don’t know who these guys are you suck donkey balls and should go play your Pokemon game and leave the grown ups alone.
Hawkeye had a excellent career, playing 16 season in the BBA from 2016 to 2032. Pierce was a 5 time All Star, he won a Landis trophy in 2031 with Jacksonville and was awarded the Landis MVP . There have been some serious discussion on whether he deserves a HOF vote but he never quite made it. Pierce retired in 2034 and moved back to Bangor, Maine and traveled the world.

John Francis "Trapper" Mcintyre
“Trap” was not quite as successful. McIntyre played 8 seasons and made 1 All Star appearance in that time. He retired in 2026 at the age of 35, moved back to Hanover, New Hampshire, went back to school and became an ER Nurse.

2012:
Haku A'amakualenalena
No reason, just didn’t see enough Hawaiian players in the league. Looked some shit up and found this name, it means “Swift, strong Warrior”.
His career lasted 9 seasons and was nothing to speak of. Was pretty good early on, looking every bit the BBA player in his first 4 season but fell of a cliff from there.
A’amakualenalena retired in 2032, moved to the big island of Oahu and opened a Poke’ food truck.

Mingo Boone
Old Daniel Boone TV series that ran from 1964 to 1970 There was a character named Chief Mingo so I just combined the two and that was that.
Boone had a great career, lasting 19 years in the big leagues. He was a 1 time Steve Nebraska Pitcher of the Year winner in 2021, won a Landis in 2022, went to 5 All Star games and Won the 2030 Comeback Player of the Year Award.
