The Outlaws Chronicles 2037-10 Sim 2 Review

Post by bigmike13 » Thu Dec 13, 2018 8:23 pm

Back To Earth

Sim 2 helped to equalize Sim 1 with a 1-4 record putting us at 5-5 early in the year. The thing that keeps surprising me the most is the job our makeshift pitching staff is doing. A team 3.19 ERA and and only 42 Runs Against putting us 3rd in the JL. Batters on the other hand have struggled in the early cold weather. Need things to heat up soon.

Game of the Week

Friday, April 10th - San Antonio @ Atlantic City

Outlaws 6 vs Gamblers 5

With this being the only win of the sim it would only seem natural that it is our game of the week. SP Bengt de Meza game another steady performance and got the game into the 6th to let the bullpen take over. This game was almost undone by errors as the Outlaws made 3 critical miscues leading to 3 unearned Runs. Eric Holliday pitched a scoreless 8th and CL Roberto Lizardo came in to shut the door for his 2nd Save on the year.
DH Andy Seekins played hero for this game smashing a 2 Run Homer in the top of the 9th giving the Outlaws a lead they would not relinquish. San Antonio rapped out 12 Hits as a team and kept the pressure on Atlantic City all game.

Pitcher of the Week

I am glad to see another team struggling with hitting. I thought it was just something going on in Omaha.
