SP Yrrigs Carpenter, the #1 prospect in the San Antonio Outlaws orginization, was rewarded today for a great 2036 season with receiving the Rupert Holmes Memorial AAA League's top pitching award, the Mitch Cain Hurler Award.

Carpenter was outstanding for San Antonio's AAA team, the Austin Rattlers, putting up video game-esque numbers. The 20 yr old hurler from Newquay, England went 11-5 with a 2.86 ERA this season. He picthed 167 Innings giving up 113 HIts, and only 53 Earned Runs all year. He struck out 165 while only issuing 53 Base on Balls and finished the year with a 5.2 WAR.

Carpenter will be invited to spring training again next year and, barring something drastic, is predicted to begin the 2037 season in the Outlaws rotation.
