Florida League Filled with Stars
Against his better judgement, GM Calvaruso has altered his philosophy regarding the Florida Instructional League and it's participation. In years past, Calvaruso has been so worried about injuries to highly rated prospects that he would send players with considerable deficiency in areas of their game and hope that one or two would catch fire and make solid improvement.
This year, the orginization has taken a harder look at the opportunties that the FIL presents for the prospects future abilities and made a strong course change regarding it. The Outlaws have sent a talent laden, and highly rated prospect filled team to Winer Haven this year.
A look at the squad shows some eye raising names; SP Raul Calderon, SP Luis Pina, RP Jorge Alvarez, CL Luis Miguel Flores, RP Ramon Sanchez, 1B Tony Hernandez, 3B Lucio Cuellar, CF Roberto Vega, and RF Pedro Hernandez.
It remains to be seen if this move turns out good or bad, but you can bet that GM Calvaruso will watching every game with keen interest, and a bottle of 18 yr old MaCallan near by. NO GUTS NO GLORY.

You know, the 18 year is pricier and everybody raves about it. I've always liked the 12 better (sherry cask).

Your team trains right down the street from me. I'll have to check out a game when Apalachicola comes to town.bigmike13 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 09, 2018 3:42 pmThe Outlaws have sent a talent laden, and highly rated prospect filled team to Winer Haven this year.
