The Outlaw Chronicles 2036-14 Bye Bye Leonard

Leonard Shipped Out

The moving sale keeps going as Outlaws 1B Dan Leonard was sent to Calgary in a late night deal between the two clubs.

Leonard was on the last year of a two year deal with San Antonio, and after having a very solid year in 2035, Leonard had been relegated to more of a backup role when the Outlaws promoted promising 1B Prospect Albert Carrasco. Leonard was a excellent influence for Carrasco and become a mentor for the young Infielder.

In exchange for Leonard, the Outlaws received 24 yr old Infielder Frank Cassidy. The Outlaws organizational depth at the middle infield positions had become thin and the choice of Cassidy helps bolster that area. Cassidy is being looked at as a solid, multiple position infielder, bench body for the near future.
