Sim 1 Review

San Antonio came out of the chute with a respectable 4-2 record. The Outlaws lost their first two games of the season to Mexico City on the road before taking the third game against the Aztecs before following it up with a sweep of the Louisiville Cardinals at The Tap Room for their opening homestand. Dan Leonard, George Claussen and Dan Norman were the hot hitters this sim and Roberto Cruz, Jose Gutierrez and Roberto Lizardo were the top arms.

Game #3, Thursday April 3rd, San Antonio @ Mexico City

Outlaws 6 vs Aztecs 1

The Outlaws broke through for their first victory in the 2036 season downing the Mexico City Aztecs 6-1 at Ullamaliztli Field. Roberto Cruz had a very efficient day going 7 innings and giving up 4 Hits and 1 Run while striking out three while securing his first Win of the year. Newly signed Wally Lopez was called on to shut the door and that's what he did with 2 shutout innings.

Offensively, the Outlaws banged out 10 Hits with OF George Claussen leading the way with a 3-4 day with 1 Run and 1 RBI. Dan Norman and Dan Leonard both blasted 2 Run homers in the game providing plenty of cushion for the pitching staff.
