Carrasco Brings Home Hardware

San Antonio Outlaws Rookie 1B Albert Carrasco has a few more items to put on the mantle at his parents house. Carrasco, a 1B with the AAA Austin Rattlers, won the Rupert Horn Memorial League Platinum Stick Award for 1B, and then turned around and won RHML Steve Garvey Jr. award for Best Batter.

The 20 yr old Carrasco, who hails from Port Chester N.Y., has enjoyed a very good season in 2035. This was Albert's first full season in AAA Austin after he was called up in the last month of the Minor League season from Shreveport. Carrasco finished the season batting .341 with an OBP of .404.

Carrasco banged out 152 HIts, 96 Runs, 44 HR's and 103 RBI's and finished with a 6.3 WAR. It is expected that Carrasco will get his first taste of the bigs when he is invited to Spring Training in 2036.
