Outlaws Move Murillo

The San Antonio Outlaws made another move today on the trade front as GM Calvaruso sent 2B Mario Murilloto Las Vegas for a prospect.

Signed in the offseason to be a backup infielder, Murillo lasted 16 games with the Outlaws. With the wheels on the San Antonio bus coming completely off from the very beginning, it made little sense to keep Mario sitting around when he could be helping someone else.

In return, Las Vegas ships 22yr old Minor League SP Jerry Crawford to San Antonio. The Outlaws see the need to rebuild their SP depth in the organization and will almost surely be looking at pitching returns for any trade.

More moves are expected form the Outlaws camp.
