Outlaws Trade Ramirez

With the Outlaws season quickly spiraling out of control, the San Antonio brass took the opportunity to make a deal with former rival New Orleans.

San Antonio sends veteran IF/OK, Alex Ramirez, to New Orleans for AA SP Floyd Davis. In the four years that Ramirez was on the Outlaws, he proved to be a valuable commodity playing all over the field and producing solid, consistent numbers and production. Ramirez posses a very pretty swing and great bat control that helps him produce a high On Base Percentage, and from there uses his blazing speed to turn Singles into Double very quickly.

In Floyd, the Outlaws receive a young, but exciting pitching prospect the 20 yr old from El Paso, TX is still growing and refining his repertoire but has 3 solid offerings with a Fastball, Cutter, Changup and he touches the high 90's. With a little more time he could become a rotation piece by 2037.

It remains to be seen just how many moves the Outlaws make this season with the rumors of rebuild filling the streets of San Antonio.

Me too, I think he has some potential to grow and become a quality starter.

I like him too...I just needed a 2B/SS very badly, and thought this was a fair price.
