Omaha announces “family friendly” pricing the rest of the season.(2053.4)
The Omaha marketing department today sent out an email to all fans who had subscribed to their email marketing campaigns announcing that for the rest of the season, ticket prices were going to be slashed.
“We want you to be able to enjoy the day at the ballpark as often as possible, whether it be as a family, a guy’s night out, a date night, or just something to do, we want you here. To make this easier, we are lightening the load on your wallets. Effective immediately, single game tickets are $15.00 each. Note, this is not only almost 40% savings off current pricing, but actually less than last season. Your Cyclones are currently in first place in the Heartland with a record of 31-18. Come join us for a game at Emilio Morales Field!”
Omaha currently was most recently reported at 49.4% capacity of it’s 60,000 seat ballpark giving revenue per game of $710,781, compared to $631,867 last season. This is worth monitoring as the season progresses. If they don’t pick up additional fans with this move, revenue per game is projected to drop to $444,238.

I don't tend to manipulate ticket prices mid-season the way many of you do. Watching it closely to see what I can/should do in the future.

Interesting. I feel like I've been stuck in a rut with pricing and have been lowering it every season. But for some reason this year the fans are coming out to the park so I've been able to maintain. Might even raise prices if we creep towards a playoff spot.

Just a small update on this...
Was:
49.4% capacity
$710,781 per game
Currently:
60.7% capacity (this has been rising since it's the average of the year).
546,313 per game (this has been rising since it's an average of the year).
30 day fan interest: went down 1 unfortunately.

Another Update On This
Started:
49.4% capacity
$710,781 per game
2nd Update:
60.7% capacity (this has been rising since it's the average of the year).
546,313 per game (this has been rising since it's an average of the year).
30 day fan interest: went down 1, unfortunately.
Now:
75.3% capacity. We are selling out every game almost as the image shows, so I am trying to just stay the course and not raise rates(although I probably should).
$677,945 per game(still under where we started when tickets were expensive. It's $33,000 less per game currently, which is about 2,200 fans.
30 day fan interest: +1 to 83.
