It appears that Amid Kasim will make his long awaited BBA debut this evening, as the Omaha marketing team sent out this tweet just moments ago(tweet seen below). Kasim has been stuck in AAA for what feels like an eternity, as he has played there since 2049. This season's early on, he has a .263/.389/.526 triple slash with 5 home runs in 95 at bats. His 155 OPS+ begging for a call-up.
No word on how long this call up will last, but one would assume it will be until Wilson Estrada is healthy based on the fact that Kasim is expected to play first base tonight! Kasim certainly should get his fair look to remain on the roster even after Estrada regains health, as he can certainly back up both corner outfield spots.
