Omaha on pace for highest attendance since 2011.(45.14)

The Cyclones have found themselves putting butts in the seats this year as they average selling 93.4% of each home game and have an outside shot to draw the third most fans in franchise history, and easily the most in the past 35 years.

Omaha currently has an annual attendance of 3,174,494 with 13 of their final 15 games remaining to be played at home (thank you BBA scheduling committee). Based on their average attendance this season of 46,684, the team would be on pace to finish with attendance for the year at 3,781,386.

This increase in attendance is notable as the club hasn’t been shy about raising ticket prices this season, currently charging an even $20 to get a seat at the park, compared to just $15.14 last season. Omaha hasn’t charged this much per game since the 2041 season when ticket prices were $21.03 and attendance for the year was just 2,324,842.

The two highest attendance seasons in franchise history were the franchises 2nd and 3rd season in existence way back in 1996 and 1997. Those seasons Omaha drew just over 4.2 million fans. Interestingly enough, it was a bigger stadium as Omaha couldn’t draw 4.2 million fans had they sold out all 50,000 seats this season at every home game. They would finish with just over 4 million.
