Well, after Quentin Richardson was fired in Omaha earlier today, many were speculating on if that meant John Bibler would get his shot as the manager of the club now, Bibler having been there since 3035 or whether it was maybe Lambert Snabel’s turn to run the show having come up quickly through the farm system coaching ranks.

None of those are apparently true.

Omaha instead has announced that William Cole will take over for Richardson. Yeah, we had to google him as well.

It’s not uncommon to see a coach take over with no BBA experience, however Cole has no experience coaching at any level of the BBA farm systems and instead seems to be just a guy who is remembered for playing AAA ball and never getting any higher, at least that’s what Google has him at. Other than his mediocre AAA career and the fact he is 41 years old age, we certainly don't know anything else about him.

So what is Omaha thinking?

Well, I guess if you're going to experiment, doing so with a 31-50 record is probably the best time to do so. Cole certainly will provide that experiment.

Stay tuned as this is a breaking news update.
