Omaha front office stresses patience as team still on pace for 0 wins. (2043.20)

As if the first week of going 0-6 wasn’t bad enough for the Cyclones, how’s about seconds? The team is still searching for It’s the first win under the Cyclone name as some fans have begun to panic, while other fans have directly blamed the rebranding done this off-season as the curse of the Hawk.

The Cyclones have a league worst negative 46 run differential through 12 games, being outscored by roughly 4 runs per game.

Despite all of that, the front office felt the need to release a message of patience as the Omaha twitter account, ironically changed its image to that of an egg symbolizing their 0 wins on the season while posting the message below.

Well, there may be 150 games remaining in Omaha, but they clearly have a large mountain to climb this season in order to have a shot at reaching 81 wins this year and finishing at .500.

If you can reach .500 by the All-Star break, which is 13 weeks away, you'll be in position for a stretch run. You play 88 games in total before the All-Star game, and you have 76 left. You'll need to go 44-32 (about a .579 clip) to hit .500 - not easy, but certainly not impossible.

I would just like to point out how early in the season it is......Yong is batting .298/.320/.553 with 3 doubles, 3 HRs, 8 RBI and 2 SBs.

(I know Geerdinkck is hitting well also but there is still time for Yong to not be leading the team. Its early.)

Or it's entirely possible that you are turtle soup.

0-12 is really hard to come back from.
