Hawks announce unscheduled press conference.(43.01)

The Omaha Hawks front office has announced that they will hold a press conference today at 1:30 PM CST. The reason for the press conference is unconfirmed, however there are rumors that manager Quentin Richardson has been let go. Richardson has been with the club since 2028 when his coaching career started, starting in single-A as the hitting coach before being promoted to the BBA in 2031 as the Hitting Coach. Richardson has been the manager of the Hawks since 2034, and has led his team to the playoffs 5 times in 9 attempts since being given the keys to lead the club.

No word on if these rumors have feet, however Richardson is entering the final year of his contract that will pay him $1,270,000. It would be a surprising move to see RIchardson let go considering the loyalty that the Omaha front office has shown to it's long term players and employees, however Richardson has not proven that he can win the big one failing each of those 5 times to even reach the Landis Memorial Series.
