The Opening Day lineup has officially been posted by the Omaha Hawk Franchise, entering their 7th season in Omaha. The Hawks had a disappointing season last year missing the playoffs for the first time in 3 seasons, and will look to rebound in 2039.
Now for the opening lineup:
Batting leadoff and playing center field entering his 8th season in the BBA, all with the Hawks franchise. He stole 63 bases last season while knocking 22 over the fence. Jimmy Starks Jr. (Ovr 65)
Batting second and playing shortstop , he was the Hawks #1 pick back in 2033 and has spent the past 5 seasons with the club at the BBA level. Last season he hit 30 long balls while driving in 89 runners. Give it up for James Monger (Ovr 65)
Batting third in the lineup and playing 1st base, he joined the Hawks in May of last season and went on to hit 22 long balls. Rafael Gonzalez! (Ovr 55)
Hitting fourth, he was a force the past 2 seasons, hitting 77 home runs over that course of time. He is your left fielder Martin Marin (Ovr 65)
The man batting fifth needs no introduction. He is the clubs all-team leader in home runs among other things. He has won 5 Puckett Bat awards. Your third baseman Emilio Morales (Ovr 80)
Batting sixth and behind the plate, he was acquired last season from Des Moines and was nominated to his first all-star game last season. Catcher John Hale (Ovr 70)
Batting seventh and appearing in the first game of his career, he hit 41 home runs last season down the road in Lincoln. He is playing 2nd base today. Bernardo Boullosa. (Ovr 50)
Batting eighth and in the designated hitter role, entering his second season with the Hawks, Alonso Olvere ( Ovr 55)
Batting ninth and playing tremendous defense in right field and entering his first full season with the club, Gustavo Herrera. (Ovr 50)
Taking the mound for opening day will be Edris Mtume. Mtume is entering his 7th professional season, all spent with the Hawks. Last season Mtume combined a 13-9 record with a 4.17 ERA.

I'm not sure he will stay there all season, but he did bat 4th most of last year I believe as Marin. I am just hoping the people ahead of him can get on.
