Omaha finds a new #1 prospect in Valenzuela.(35.38)

Omaha’s farm was looking mighty depleted after the trade with Charm City which sent away several of the team’s top 20 prospects. With that in mind, the team sent their international scout down to look for talent.

Talent is just what the scout brought home.

16 year old Quintiliano Rodeia is now listed as the team’s #1 prospect in the top 20 prospect listing. Rodeia is projected to be a 4 star potential player, potentially settling in near the top of the roation.

His arsenal features a curveball, sinker, and splitter that full developed should fool Brewster batters. Rodeia has tremendous endurance and should be able to pitch 110+ pitches each game which if strategic should eliminate the need for much of a bullpen on his outings.

Rodeia is still quite a ways off and our experts predict that he will arrive in the BBA in 2040 at the age of 21.
