Overheard in GM Callahan's office as manager Jose Sosa storms in.....

Sosa: "Ok, enough is enough".
Callahan: "What are you talking about Jose?"
Sosa: "We are only 8 games out with this crap roster. Let's get some guys in here".
Callahan: "Patience Jose. It's a process we are going through."
Sosa: "Patience my ass. I can't take much more of this. Let's get some guys in here."
Callahan: "Like who? I am not going to trade some of our young players to get some vets in here at the moment."
Sosa: "Why don't we bring up some young pitchers from Fort Wayne?"
Callahan: "Jose, this is a process.......
Sosa: "I don't wanna hear that garbage."
Callahan: "Who would you like to see up here?"
Sosa: "How about Tallchief?"
Callahan: "I just don't think he is ready just yet."
Sosa: "How about Huigens?"
Callahan: "Same thing really. I just don't think he is ready."
Sosa: "That's BS. They are both dominating at AAA."
Callahan: "There is other things to consider here. We would also like to stagger the starts of their arby clocks so they are not all going to be free agents at the same time Jose."\
Sosa: "I don't know what the hell any of that means."
Callahan: "What about Bergeron?"
Sosa: "What about him? He can't throw strikes."
Callahan: "Work with him, maybe start with him in the pen?"
Sosa: "Seriously? This is what you can do for me? Bergeron?

Manager Jose Sosa then proceeded to grab the phone off of Callahan's desk and toss it al a Hal McCrae style.

Ah, I was just busting felipe's chops since his go-to article is the GM-owner dialogue.

I do enjoy bloating my post count, too, though.

I just find this style a lot more interesting/entertaining than the standard 'reporting' fare; although i try to do things as many 'different' ways as I can - if only to keep myself entertained

Thats why I appreciate this, and the verses by Al, and when someone does a stat anaylsis piece - I find it more immersing
