Montreal, ON - The Montreal Blazers have a new guy pulling their strings. Scott Maynor has been named general manager, Chief Operating Officer and Team Scapegoat. The new guy has taken some time to look over the team and set out a long term strategy. After much internal debate, the front office has decided to unofficially put everyone on the trade block. The decision will likely draw some criticism but in the end, it is important that the team bears the leadership's signature.

The team will look to field a team that has a strong pitching core and above average defense. When it comes to offense, the management style tends towards high contact, low strikeouts and superior speed. Your proto-typical slash and burn offense.

The current Montreal pitching staff is pretty close to ideal. Ben Rivera and Jim Cramer are a pair of twenty-eight year old arms that most teams would be pleased to build around and Centerfielder Bolt Vanderhugen looks like super-stud that can field, hit and run with the best of them.

The front office has not ruled out trading any of their current players. They will field any offer that includes high profile prospects and/or draft picks. The bottom line with the organization is to put their own stamp on the team and build a winner - in that order.

Welcome, Scotto! Walking into a roster with Bolt on it is a nice treat, I'm sure.
