Montreal legend Eduardo González is returning to the organization. He has accepted a position as the manager of the Sault Ste. Marie Sea Serpents, the club's rookie league affiliate.

I've already talked with pitching coach Daniel De La Garza and hitting coach Mike Garlick, who are legendary at what they do. I think my background will complement theirs and give our youngsters another perspective on what it takes to succeed in professional baseball."
González hit .283/.341/.514 (126 OPS+) with 829 doubles, 58 triples, 554 home runs, and 1946 RBIs in his career. His number 32 is retired by Montreal.
