In his second season in the BBA, the reigning Yogi Zimmer Diamond Glove winner is hitting .310/.385/.571 (179 OPS+) with twelve doubles, four triples, and eight home runs. Although not a threat on the base paths, Burgus has served as the Blazers lead-off hitter this season and leads the league in runs scored.
