I did log a few innings there for Nassau, but it felt strange. In my first at-bat, I thought it might carry, but I hit to the deepest part of the park and the wind knocked it down. It felt good to get a hit in my second at-bat."

Drafted in the first round of the 2057 Amateur Draft, Gallehos is a corner infielder for Single-A Dearborn Heights. After spending his first season in rookie ball, this year he started in Short Season A, hitting .349/.388/.698, which earned him a recent promotion. He is the crown jewel of the Blazers farm system, which ranks 24th among the 32 BBA clubs. The Baseball News Network ranks him as the BBA's #22 overall prospect. Scouts project him as an elite power hitter with good contact skills, but fear that he will need to move off third base eventually.
