The Blazers lineup has two new faces, after placing Jorge Rincón on the IL and waiving Pedro Huerta.

Josh Mesh
33-year-old Josh Mesh, a veteran outfielder capable of manning all three outfield spots, has been playing center field against right-handed starters since the injury to Rincón. In 12 starts, Mesh is hitting a very respectable .250/.308/.500. With Rincón's return near, Mesh's days in the big leagues could be numbered.

Fawwaz Amin
When Huerta was waived, it was the 30-year-old Fawwaz Amin who got called up to take over as the designated hitter versus right-handers. Amin has been red hot since arriving in Montreal last week, hitting .294/.333/.706 in five games. He was named Player of the Game in the team's 6-1 victory over New Orleans, going 4-for-4 with a double and a home run. In that same game, Mesh also homered.
It has not gone unnoticed that the rookie Hanbal Sayyid has been seen at Amin's side in the dugout, given that both men hail from Egypt. Perhaps the veteran can assist his young teammate in the transition to the big leagues,
