Blazers' catcher Calvin Johnson and third baseman Eduardo González are on their way to Phoenix to help represent the Johnson League in the annual All-Star Game. This will be Johnson's third All-Star appearance and González's fifth All-Star game.
Calvin Johnson
The 35-year-old Johnson is a switch hitter, and is being used in a platoon against right-handed pitching, hitting .251/.343/.400 against them for an OPS+ of 109. He is among the league leaders in Framing Runs, which is why he was a major target for the Blazers in the offseason.
Eduardo González
