Crawdads Win, Bond goes 4-for-4
The New Orleans Crawdads bested the Montreal Blazers by a score of 7-3, with first baseman Brody Bond getting the main credit. On the day, Bond was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Crawdads. Frank Benítez, now 8-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0. The win elevated the Crawdads to 88-62.

New Orleans took a 4-3 lead on Mal Fountain's 23rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Montreal pitcher Aidan Pilgrim in the bottom of the seventh. Pilgrim pitched 6.0 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits with 3 K's and 2 walks. José Duart pitched 1 inning, while giving up a 2 run home run to Brody Bond.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Bond.

Gamblers double up Blazers with 3 run 9th
The Gamblers grabbed a win, 4-2, at Ubisoft Field, overcoming a fine effort from Montreal pitcher Don Jaramillo. Jaramillo went 7 innings and allowed 1 run on 6 hits with 9 strikeouts. With the victory, the Gamblers upped their record to 86-64, while the Blazers fall to 59-92.

Montreal jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning thanks to a Lineu Aldo home run, his 16th of the season. That would be the only runs the Blazers would muster. It would stay 2-0 till the top of the 5th inning when Ernesto González would hit an RBI double for the Gamblers. With the score 2-1 in the top of the 9th inning Cinema Jones would come through with clutch hitting to notch the win for Atlantic City. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run off Vaughn Mullally. For the game, Jones had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats. "We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Jones said after the game.

Carlton Casson picked up the loss, while Vaughn Mullally was credited with a blown save.

Gamblers Defeat Blazers, 6-3
Atlantic City Gamblers starter Enrique López was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Montreal Blazers, 6-3. Montreal's current losing streak is now 4 games.

8 batters would come to the plate for Montreal in the 1st inning, with the Blazers scoring 2 runs. Starting with a Eduardo González RBI double before 3 batters later, Pedro Rosales would hit a full count RBI single.

The Gamblers would get both runs back in the top of the 3rd. With an RBI single by Ernesto González and a RBI double by Juan Rivera.

It'd stay 2-2 until the 12th inning when Atlantic City used the clutch hitting of José Romero to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Gamblers ahead, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Romero told the Atlantic City Herald.

Blazers Win Thriller, 5-4
The Montreal Blazers picked up a win at Ubisoft Field, knocking off the Atlantic City Gamblers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Kasper Johnson was a big reason why. The win has Montreal at 60-93.

It took until the 6th inning for either team to get one on the board, with Montreal putting 3 on there. Gehrig Jelinowicz lead off the inning with a single. After a ground out by Lineu Aldo to move Jelinowicz to 2nd, Eduardo González would then hit the 1st of 3 back to back to back double to score Jelinowicz. Carlton Casson & Joe Bradshaw would be the next 2 batters to hit RBI doubles.

The Blazers would add another in the bottom of the 7th with a Motonobu Yamashita RBI double to make it 4-0. Thanks to a massive 4 run 9th inning, the Gamblers would tie it at 4 before Ulvi Basgil was the walk-off hero for Montreal. The Blazers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the 21,489 Blazers fans home happy.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Atlantic City manager Fernando Blanco.

Jimmies Deal Blazers 5-1 Setback
The home crowd had a good time watching the Montreal Blazers and Charm City Jimmies get after it.

Gonzáles pitched 6.1 innings while giving up 1 run on 4 hits with 9 strikeouts. He moves to 12-15 on the season. Arsenio Lambrinos was on the mound for Montreal and pitched 6.0 innings while giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, with 2 of those runs coming via the long ball. He falls to 7-15 on the season.

For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in. "When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Gonzáles. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
