There is plenty of bad to go around for this 2048 Montreal Blazers baseball team. Let's start with the -90 run differential and then we can move to the 4.67 team ERA(13th in the FL). Let's pick on the bullpen ERA as well since it started the season in the top five but dropped over the course of the last three months to 13th in the FL. A total of 19 players threw a pitch for the Blazers in 2048 and most were moved out of their spot on the major league roster due to performance(rather than injury as was the case in 2047). Ace Don Jaramillo was given just 3.1 runs per game to work with and in spite of his 4.0 WAR on the year he still managed to suffer his first losing season from a win/loss perspective. Other than Jaramillo the rotation was far from great. 22 year old Arsenio Lambrinos was suppose to take a big leap forward this season and become the true number two on the Montreal staff. Instead he took a step backwards with a bigger ERA and an increase in BB/9 and a decrease in K/9.
To be honest there is a lot more ugly than there is bad...
