43.02 - Montreal Trades Charriere

It has been rumored the Blazers were looking to move one of their shortstops. With a log jam at short, the rumor has it the Blazers had tried to Wagaw Fakihi. Rumor has it they had a few offers but nothing that they couldn't say no to.

So then out of the blue Sacramento offers a package deal for the 20 year old Henri Charriere. "I really didn't want to move Charriere, he was my first draft pick when I took over Montreal here in 2041. But I felt overall the package deal was too good to pass up."

In return the Blazers get back 22 year old outfielder Keith Schultz, 19 year old center fielder Pete Davis, 20 year old RP Vaughn Mullally, 19 year old pitcher Bill O'Connor & 24 year old pitcher Phil 'Death Rattle' Brown. That name alone make the trade worthwhile. LOL
