42.17 - Blazers Weekly: Montreal brings up Webber & Bell

With the roster expansion this week, the Blazers have made a few roster moves.
Ares PapadiasFirst thankfully for the Blazers get 31 year old catcher Ares 'The Steamboat' Papadias back off the injured list. He has been out since July 22nd with a Fractured wrist.
They have also called up right filder Edmund Webber. Webber has played all season in AAA New Jersey but did spend 13 games in Montreal in 2040. During that time he went .263/.348/.421 /.769. In New Jersey this season he has a stat line of .304/.396/.646 with 8HR and 22RBI in 31 games. Frankly he probably should have been in AAA or Montreal the whole season.
Blazers also called up the only player that's still healthy from that horrendous Monteral/Edmonton trade earlier this season, CF Jerry Bell . Bell has a stat line of .202/.317/.341 this season. But he does have 44RBI and 20 stolen bases in 102 games this season.
Rumor around the club is the Blazers could be looking at moving one of their young shortstops this off-season. As both 21 year old Wagaw Fakihi and 2041 first round draft pick (4th overall) Henri 'Papillion' Charriere only play the shortstop position. Only time will tell which direction they decide to go.
