SP Vicente López will make the team offer of $4,620,000 this season, he asked for $5,500,000. The 25 year old Lopez is one of the top 3 in the pitching staff. Last season he only started only 5 games, mainly due to a torn UCL that he suffered on 9/20/2040 that sidelined him for 10 months. In those 5 games he went 1-2 with a 4.20ERA.

27 year old LF Rafael Solís was awarded $850,000, he was asking for $1,205,000. He was .262/.343/.498 last season with 31HR and 95RBI.

LF Jassiem Dukuzumuremyi was awarded $750,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Dukuzumuremyi is expexted to compete with the aforementioned Rafael Sofis for the LF starting job. Last season he was .306/.371/.528 with 14HR across 284 at bats.

1B José García was awarded $750,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Garcia is expected to compete with Munoz for the starting 1B job. Last season he hit .289/.365/.502 with 15HR and 47 RBI across 325 at bats in 91 games.

Last up is the ace of the pitching rotation, Drees Geestman who was awarded $3,000,000, as the arbitrator ruled in favor of Geestman. The team was offering $2,200,000. Geestman went 14-7 in 33 starts last season. He had a 4.19 ERA and 170 strikeouts across 206.1 innings pitched.

In other Blazers news and for anyone who wasn't paying attention to the Blazers this season,Lineu Aldo
Image
was named the 2041 Johnson League Joe Gillstrom Newcomer of the Year. He went .358/.405/.670 across 639 at bats in 155 games. His .358 batting average led the team, he also added 37 homeruns (best on team) & 127 runs batted in (also best on team). Manager Tomas Valdez said "It would have been robbery had Aldo not won NOY, all you had to do was look at his stats. He led this team across the board. Heck all you have to do is look at his WAR" (which sits at 8.3...3rd best in league). The only question with Aldo is, can it get any better than last season? Or will it be a sophomore slump?
