The arbitration results for the Montreal Blazers were released today.

1st Baseman Carlos Munoz was awarded a salary of $750,000, he was asking for a salary of $1,250,000. Last season Munoz went had a stat line of .333/.410/.590 with 7HR and 26RBI.

SP Vicente López will make the team offer of $4,620,000 this season, he asked for $5,500,000. The 25 year old Lopez is one of the top 3 in the pitching staff. Last season he only started only 5 games, mainly due to a torn UCL that he suffered on 9/20/2040 that sidelined him for 10 months. In those 5 games he went 1-2 with a 4.20ERA.

27 year old LF Rafael Solís was awarded $850,000, he was asking for $1,205,000. He was .262/.343/.498 last season with 31HR and 95RBI.

27 year old RP Arturo Trinidad was awarded the team offer of $850,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Trinidad pitched 86.1 innings last season and had a 5.11ERA across 42 games.

LF Jassiem Dukuzumuremyi was awarded $750,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Dukuzumuremyi is expexted to compete with the aforementioned Rafael Sofis for the LF starting job. Last season he was .306/.371/.528 with 14HR across 284 at bats.

1B José García was awarded $750,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Garcia is expected to compete with Munoz for the starting 1B job. Last season he hit .289/.365/.502 with 15HR and 47 RBI across 325 at bats in 91 games.

RP Alberto Deleón was awarded $750,000, he was asking for $1,250,000. Last season Deleon had a 4.79 ERA with a record of 9-3 across 71.1 innings pitched.

Last up is the ace of the pitching rotation, Drees Geestman who was awarded $3,000,000, as the arbitrator ruled in favor of Geestman. The team was offering $2,200,000. Geestman went 14-7 in 33 starts last season. He had a 4.19 ERA and 170 strikeouts across 206.1 innings pitched.
