GM Search Complete in Montreal - 2037.1

Some times it can take a while to find the right man for the job, and the Montreal Blazer's previously vacant GM job was no exception. With their history of excellence, owner John Percolo wanted to be certain that they found someone who would be there for the long term. Today, they believe that they have finally found that person in ex California Crusader's GM Zach Grant.
"We feel that he's the right man for both the short term and long term." Percolo responded when asked about Grant's hiring, "He had some issues in California, but that is well in the past. We were wanting someone with a little familiarity at what it takes to succeed at this level as well as a good personality fit with Kayne."
Manager Kayne Grandage had gained some support by local media members as a potential for the vacant job. When asked about the rumors that Kayne was being considered Percolo remarked, "We met with Kayne, but ultimately we both decided that he was irreplaceable in the clubhouse. All the guys love him and he's had continued success year in and year out."
Grant was unable to be reached for comment as he was flying in from Boston, however team public relations did schedule an introductory press conference as well as a Q&A for later in the week.
