Montreal
When the Blazers drafted Charles Martin late in the 1st round of the 2029 draft, the plan was he would develop in the minors for at least 3-4 seasons or so and then would be ready to take over for long time Blazer Anastasio Santana. As we know plans sometimes don't go the way they are supposed to. Martin developed much quicker then anticipated and is ready for prime time duty after only 2 seasons of minor league ball. It's not often you see such a late 1st round pick get to the major league level so quickly. There's only one problem. Santana is not ready to give up his spot in the lineup just yet. Coming into action today, Santana is hitting .295 with a .345OBP. He has 10 SB's, and may be the best defensive 2B in the league. For his part, Martin is hitting .415 in a limited platoon role. His below average defense at 2B may be what holds him back from being an elite 2B in this league. The only way he improves his defense is to play more, however the only way that opportunity is coming anytime soon is if there is an injury. Santana was on the trade block as early as last year for the Blazers but the team did not receive any creditable offers.
For now, Charles 'Bonehead' Martin will have to wait for an opportunity to establish himself as an everyday player.

I just enjoy that your organizational plan is to replace a Village Idiot with a Bonehead. I think that's an upgrade?
