Blazers Clinch Division - 2030

The Blazers officially clinched the JL Atlantic Division title marking their 11th division title under the current management. It was a very quiet clubhouse celebration however as the team knows there is still plenty of work to go. "All we have done today is buy our ticket to the dance", said GM Callahan. "Anyone can beat anyone in the playoffs, so we will just need to go out and play the way we have been playing and see what happens", he continued. The Blazers are currently sitting with an impressive 100-58 record with 4 games to go.

The title did come at a price however as slugging first basemen Cisco Guerrero injured his foot and will be out on a week to week basis. This would be a huge loss for the club if Guerrero is unable to recover. He is part of one of the best 3-4 combinations in the league with superstar Jared Gillstrom. "No doubt, we need to get him back on the field soon if we have any chance. He is a huge part of our team", said Gillstrom.

The club has had plenty of regular season success under it's current management, reaching the playoffs 16 times in the 28 seasons. However with only one Landis title to the team's credit, it is certainly a sore spot. "I would trade in all of those division crowns for another ring. No doubt about it", said Callahan.
