Lúcio Juárez
Juárez, 33, has been the team ace since he signed a six-year deal before the 2059 season. He has made 134 starts, going 49-44 with a 3.26 ERA (136 ERA+) and a 1.13 WHIP. This season he is 8-4 over fourteen starts with a 2.64 ERA (132 ERA+) and a 0.92 WHIP. Last season he finished third in the Johnson League Steve Nebraska Golden Arm voting.

David Uribe
Erik Breum has yet to announce who will replace Juárez in the rotation. The most likely candidate is David Uribe, who was sent down to AAA a few weeks ago. Scouts say that his pitch movement has improved during his current stint in the minor leagues. In a long relief role with the big league club this season, he was 1-0 with a 4.91 (71 ERA+) in five appearances. Uribe, 24, was originally selected by Montreal out of junior college in the fourth round of the 2057 amateur draft.
