Monty Brewster’s Montré-Booster: Platoon
RAMJACK Shout!*: - Press Release from Executive Coach Stan H. Stansman
The Montreal Blazers are delighted to announce from the recent winter meetings that they’ve added a critical piece they were missing, a LH platoon bat, to go alongside other LH platoon bats Lance Nash, MR/DH Calton Casson, and recent acquisition Bastiao Fardos. "Pablo Lara has good bat speed, plus power, and is a real threat against right-handed pitching, commented Stansman, “he’s here for one year now; however we’re hopeful he can build a career here”. Word of warning Montreal – you don’t want to start him against southpaws!

Lara was plan A this summer so pleased it work out. Him and Adjeng are both mid-20s so might both yet go on to greater things. Adjeng might be the first ever 1B conversion; odd as he's a decent OF
That would leave Fardos and Moon as a nice problem to have, Nash on the outside, but Casson might beat them both out tho!
The major thing...no hope in hell Powers' option vests. Boom!
EDIT: turns out you can't convert to 1B till the player is 30? So Adjeng, err, remains Adjeng.

I like that he still has untapped potential, has platoon splits to leverage, and you didn't have to commit much. Reminds me a lot of the Bronx Cortez contract I handed out last offseason.
