The Carolina Kraken went 3-5 this last sim, holding onto the worst record in the MBWBA by a four-game margin.

Player of the Sim:

Jimmy Brennan has been struggling all year long, but he broke out in a big way last sim. The shortstop hit .375 with two homers and a 1.103 OPS in the Kraken's eight games. The Kraken still have big hopes for Jimmy, who still has some room to develop.

Pitcher of the Sim:

Will Craig has been struggling all year long, but he might be starting to come around. The righty pitched a complete game shutout against the Des Moines Kernels, allowing just three hits and two walks over nine innings.


Other strong performances:

Newcomer Todd Clay also hit .375 with a .410 OBP in eight games. He's a stark contrast from Bryant, but he's got skills.

Al Hall has been on fire, allowing just one earned run in his last three starts. Hall is still the future of this franchise, and the righty now has a sparkling 3.55 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 132 innings this year.
