Infront of a press corp looking to grill his star closer, General Manager Matthew Bornac had the following statement:

"Today, the commisioners office notified us that Richard Wasson failed a random drug test administered last week. Due to the results of this failed test, and the no tolerance policy of the MBBA and it's affiliated minor and European leagues, he will be forced to sit out 10 games, without a chance at an appeal.

We also would like to address the rumors that the positive drug test came up for Bath Salts, we would like to report that as of this moment, Mr. Wasson has not tried to eat anyone's face, so we are happy to reject that nasty rumor."

The team will welcome back the veteran Wasson, who is the teams all time save leader, once his suspension is complete.

An old man now finds himself well below ML quality after a solid career and attempts to skirt the rules for one last hurrah... sad really.
